The massive lounge room has been styled with fabulous natural tones like: beige, cream and wood with vibrant pops of green and coral. The beautiful plant life within the apartment is just another way to bring nature inside.
Navy blue is such a versatile and easy-going colour and pops of it have been used in the main bedroom to bring the sea to life inside. Tonally, we have kept the rest of the palette as natural as possible, This results in your eyes straying outside, where you can see snippets of the sea!
The second bedroom in this apartment (not all apartments have two bedrooms) has been decorated with a Miami, Venice Beach vibe with great pops of pink and turqoise. Little pops of gold have been added to create a luxe, yet laid back feel.
The styling for La Vie on Bribie was done by Brisbane Makeover Company.

The colour palette of the La Vie on Bribie apartments is very inspired by the nature of the beach. Each colour was carefully selected to suit the direction of the property, the size of the property and the shape of the property - to make each home feel as close to nature as possible.
1. Beautiful beige - this is not just another neutral colour, this was chosen to represent the sands of Bribie Island. The color beige is natural, calm, and relaxing.
2. Pearl white - the white accents within La Vie were chosen to sybolise the pure, clean clouds that bob over the ocean. White represents quiet and pleasantness.
3. Chrome - the fixtures inside are representative of the silver-blue tone that the ocean takes on when a storm is brewing over the bay. Chrome is refined metallic, a real distinguished colour of riches, similar to grey, but is more fun, lively, and playful than grey.
4. Light wood - this flooring choice was made after taking a long walk along the beach where a piece of driftwood was pulled onto shore. The magnificent beige and grey tones within the driftwood inspired the choice that would tie the entire property together!

According to the latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), a little over 20,000 people currently live on Bribie Island, however, 84% of the island is protected from development and this limit to development dictates a natural population cap of around 30,000 people, meaning that Bribie Island will never become as crowded as the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast.
Living on Bribie Island is all about that easy-going, "make sure you bring your cosi with you", "throw a sausage on the barby", Aussie lifestyle. Having a cap on the amount of people able to build on the Island is a great way to protect this laid back life.
